Great Moon Buffet: Chinese Buffet with Spectacular Service in Saint Paul, MN

If I could give six stars I would! The food was good, but the service was SPECTACULAR! We arrived with about 100 people for lunch- mix of 6th, 10th, and adults. We had a table area ready, drinks were out within 10 minutes, plates were cleared fast, cups refilled before they were half gone. On top of it- DonJee helped one of the 6th graders with a survey for our program- including reading and explaining the question. This was well beyond the scope of a Great Moon Employee. As our bus pulled away, an employee ran out- as one student left their AirPod's and did not know it. Amazing service!

Actually... got... BETTER?!?!? I can't lie. This place is actually improving. In a world where "good enough" is good enough, Great Moon Buffet reaches past the brass ring and grabs... their goals. The food is even more consistently consistent. Things look and taste fresher. The items are mostly the same ones (thank God) but a few changes have been made. MINOR ones. Overall, this place deserves five stars. King of Buffets. Long may it reign.

Food can be a hit and miss, depends on who is cooking, food can be really good or bland, but always loved this place. Price not bad for a buffet, for 2 people it's about $25 each. Nice variety of foods, has salad station and offers sushi. More times than not this place is great! Usually decently busy, but they seat people fast and normally can find a spot and not really wait time. Food was well stocked. Service was decent on refilling drinks. Not very chatty staff but they do decent on keeping an eye on refilling drinks, Recommend a try!

Why is the sushi here so addictive; it's creamy melt in your mouth goodness. The food is consistent here and the turn over is good from busy crowds on the weekends. Keeps me coming back again and again.

This is the go to Chinese buffet in the east metro. Sushi, the typical Chinese dishes, desert, and tonight they had shrimp, prawns, clams, and mussels.
